“Guiding the journey of parenthood, through dedicated and personalised HealthCare from birth to beyond”
Hi, I am Julie, a Registered Nurse, Midwife and Child Health Nurse, that has had over 30 years’ experience supporting families.
I believe that starting a family is one of the greatest transitions anyone can go through. Having worked in this area for my whole nursing career, I’m very aware of the challenges that this transition can bring.
My goal is to Empower, Educate and Support Families through this journey to be the best version of themselves.
I understand that every person’s journey is vastly different from the next. I embrace every family’s uniqueness and work to build a safe, trusting relationship that is non-judgemental from the get go, factoring that both parents are equally as important.
I will take the time to listen and understand your needs and concerns and formalise a service that is tailored to you.
I have worked with Julie in clinical paediatrics for many years. Julie is a focused and patient centred clinical paediatric nurse. She shows kindness and excellent clinical insight. As a colleague I admire her energy and determination to assist infants and children and their families. Kind regards,
Seeing Julie regularly was very helpful in increasing my confidence as a first-time mum. She also identified Postnatal mental health issues, I was trying to handle alone and arranged for me to receive some help. I hugely appreciate her!
As a Clinical Nurse Consultant working for a community based, perinatal mental health service I work collaboratively with Community Child Health Nurses. As such I have had the pleasure to work with Julie Thomas on and off since 2010. During this time, we have co-facilitated the ‘together in mind’ program for women and their children. This program runs over 6 weeks, covering information, skills, and strategies in support of a family’s emotional, physical, and developmental wellbeing.
I have observed Julie to be knowledgeable, observant, responsive and a respectful communicator. Her work with families is underpinned by her being a passionate, committed advocate for parents
and children. I have no hesitation in recommending Julie if you are looking for information and support regarding your child’s overall wellbeing
